Every event booking is as unique as you are.


Can I book events through the self-service system on your website?

No, our website’s self-service booking process is designed primarily for regular weekly bookings, such as those for junior football clubs, one-off badminton bookings, and yoga classes. It is not tailored for booking events or functions.

For event bookings, you will require personalised assistance for accurate pricing. To get in touch with the team, submit an enquiry from your main event space, and the team will get back to you with a quote within one working day. Operating hours can be found on the Contact Us page.

How is event pricing determined?

Our event pricing varies based on several factors, including:

  • The number of attendees.

  • The type of event.

  • Facilities required.

  • Duration and time of day.

What information should I provide when enquiring about a booking?

To help us provide an accurate quote, please include the following details:

  • Type of event (e.g., 60th Birthday Party, Wedding Reception, Church Conference).

  • Your preferred event date and any alternative dates.

  • Event times, including setup and clearing time.

  • Maximum number of attendees during the event.

  • Additional spaces required beyond the main event space.

  • Furniture needs and layout preferences, such as theatre-style seating or tables and chairs for dining.

  • Equipment requirements (e.g., sound and lighting).

  • Decoration plans, including whether you’ll handle decorations yourself or use a third-party service.

  • Third-party involvement, such as caterers, DJs, or bouncy castle providers.

Is a deposit required to book an event?

Yes, we require a security deposit of 50% of the total booking value to secure your event date. This deposit is fully refundable provided the following conditions are met:

  • Cancellation notice is submitted at least 8 weeks before the event.

  • The event does not overrun its agreed schedule.

  • There are no damages, breakages, or excessive cleaning required.

Cancellation fees apply as follows:

  • More than 8 weeks' notice: No charge.

  • 4-8 weeks' notice: 20% of the booking total.

  • 2-4 weeks' notice: 50% of the booking total.

  • Less than 2 weeks' notice: Full booking fee.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.

Are there any venue restrictions I should be aware of?

Yes, as our venues are schools with a primary focus on education, there are some restrictions to ensure suitability. These include:

  • No parties for teens or young adults.

  • No public or ticketed events.

  • No kitchen access.

  • No hot food preparation on-site (e.g., barbecues or deep frying) - we suggest serving a cold buffet or using hot water or gel-based chafing dishes to keep food warm.

  • No naked flames, confetti, helium balloons, or decorations pinned or stuck to walls or furniture.

  • No pyrotechnics or live music.

  • No alcohol on-site without permission; most school venues do not allow any alcohol on-site.

  • No stiletto heels or similar sharp footwear to protect the flooring.

While these restrictions apply, we’re excited to help you create a wonderful event within these guidelines.

Do you offer kids' party rates?

Yes, some of our venues offer kids' party rates with set pricing for the following criteria:

  • A two hour party for a maximum of 30 children.

  • 30 minutes before and after the booking for setup and cleanup.

What does "dry hire" mean?

"Dry hire" means you rent the venue space without any additional services or equipment provided by us. You are responsible for arranging all aspects of your event, including catering, decorations, additional furniture, audiovisual equipment, and security staffing. Any third-party vendors you hire must comply with our venue guidelines, and we will require supporting documents from them, for example, catering certificates and proof of public liability insurance.
